The McAuliffe Story
The McAuliffe’s have been walking the townlands and villages of County Cork for over one thousand years, but it was not until travel by sea became a viable connection to the rest of the world, did the Clan set its mark on civilisation.
Modern day McAuliffe’s have become space travellers,
notable army generals, state governors, champion boxers, mayors and poets, their stories are told here.
More importantly, we have recorded the stories of ordinary families proud to bear the name McAuliffe in all its forms.
